Case 04
Product Accelerator
Ideas waited for the next planning cycle or were built on assumptions.
Company challenge
A digital farming platform in North America faced a three-part challenge: detect real improvements in the patterns behind a constant flow of user feedback, manage the pipeline of new ideas coming from product owners and business sponsors (each with its own season and urgency) through prototyping and testing, and do both without pulling the core product and engineering teams focus off the main roadmap. Every improvement needed the same path, from feedback to validated prototype to build-ready handoff, and that path did not yet exist as a process. Ideas waited for the next planning cycle or were built on assumptions.
Approach
Magoya set up a feedback-to-roadmap loop: a standing cross-functional squad (client lead, product managers, ag expert, software architect, UX/UI designer) working beside the core team with one job: take an idea or a pattern of feedback and return a validated, build-ready answer inside the agronomic window that mattered.
The loop had a fixed shape so it could run again and again. Each concept started with a structured brief from its sponsor and a short discovery with the product owners and the users involved, so the squad worked on the real problem. Findings were prioritized with the client, then moved to ideation, a functional prototype and a testing round that Magoya ran directly with users, from recruiting to analysis. Every cycle closed with the same package: findings, user flows, the tested prototype, technical notes and a PRD ready for the core engineering team to take into production.
Concepts were batched so discovery for one ran while another was in testing.
The value sat in three places: a user-level point of view the core team could not hold while shipping, a method the client could keep running on its own, and the discipline of killing or reshaping ideas before engineering paid for them.
Results
- 10+ concepts taken from idea to fully tested prototype
- 4 to 8 weeks per full cycle, brief to prototype validation
- 100% of validated concepts handed to engineering as production-ready PRDs with no re-discovery needed
